Research Program: Observatory of Support for Entrepreneurship in Africa (OSE in Africa)
The ADALIA Institute Research Faculty leads an applied research program in favor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Africa through the creation and development of the Observatory of Support for Entrepreneurship in Africa (OSE in Africa© ).
This research program includes the following components:
- Census of entrepreneurship support structures in Africa;
- Analysis of their activity;
- Establishment of a Mapping of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Morocco using the network method;
- Qualitative and quantitative analyses;
- Carrying out studies.
The national reporting roadmap
We have already identified more than 1,500 African entrepreneurial ecosystem actors, who have many characteristics and functions. Reports are available for the periods 2008 to 2023 for Tunisia (12 in French and 12 in English) and Morocco (12 in French and 12 in English). Pan-African reports
Pan-African reports from 2008 to 2023 will be available at the end of the first quarter of 2025.

The online platform for entrepreneurs
By the end of 2024, the consolidated directory of African Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Actors will be available, including search and contact functions.
OSE in Africa is the African “Startuper Portal” containing:
- The database of entrepreneurship support structures in Morocco (Incubators, Co-Working spaces, Investment Funds, FabLab, etc.);
- The database of entrepreneurship support programs
- Sectoral studies and guides for evolving in the Ecosystem
